This journey is characterized by uninhabited jungle swathed islands edged with pristine beaches, volcanic outcrops and dazzling turquoise oceans inundated with marine life.

Alor is one of the most remote islands in the archipelago and has a raw and prehistoric beauty which will delight even the most seasoned of travellers.

Destination - Spice Islands

The Banda Islands are a small cluster of about ten islands in the Banda Sea about 2,000km east of Java at the tail end of the Indonesian archipelago. These form part of the Maluku Province and the main city/island is called Ambon which has a small airport serving as the main port of entry and the jumping off point for adventures here.

This region is also referred to as The Spice Islands because, although long forgotten by the march of history, these islands were once the epicentre of the worlds focus as European colonial powers vied to carve up the world between them. The attraction was the precious commodities of nutmeg, cloves and mace that grow profusely here.

Destination - Raja Ampat

Raja Ampat is notorious for the Jurassic-like beauty of its cays and shoals embracing over 1,500 rambling islands set like rough jewels in a cerulean sea. Located off the northwest tip of the island of New Guinea, and part of the Indonesian West Papua Province, you can explore prehistoric caves, visit ancient tribes, kayak around virgin coastlines and discover dive sites famed for having the most species recorded on a single dive.

The romance of this far-flung region is embodied by the history of its fairy-tale name which literally translates as ‘four kings’. Local mythology tells of a woman who finds seven mysterious eggs. Immediately after that, four of these hatch and become kings who reign over Raja Ampat’s biggest islands - Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta and Misool.

Destination - Komodo

Komodo National Park is a mystical-looking cluster of islands rising out of the ocean like the scaly backs of enormous Jurassic reptiles. Also, home to the famed Komodo dragon and the only place this majestic creature is found in the wild. According to colorful legend, the Komodo dragons we see today are all descended from one born to a Dragon Princess. George Raymond Richard Martin who wrote Game of Thrones must have got his inspiration here.

Plunging savannahs, arid in the summer and bursting with life in the winter, deserted white sand beaches, mountainous outcrops and turquoise oceans teeming with more species than any other place on the planet await your discovery. The scuba diving here is amongst the best in the world and over 1,000 species of marine life and 250 types of coral are found here.
